Hybrid Design
Augmented Reality for Designers
In cooperation with the International Design Centre e.V. and the Cluster of Excellence »Matters of Activity. Image Space Material«, AURORA School for ARtists was holding a one-day workshop on »Augmented Reality for Designers«.
Augmented Reality enables interaction with virtual content in analog space. Computer-generated elements such as 3D models or animations are projected into the tangible world via a mobile device and activated there. The result is a hybrid design in which analog and virtual elements can be combined. This form of mixed reality also offers great potential for the presentation of virtual models and designs.
The course will be held in German. Please register via aurora [at] htw-berlin.de. The program can be found here.
