Prof. Dr. Marie Weinhart
Marie Weinhart studied Chemistry in Berlin with a focus on Polymer Science. She completed her doctoral studies in 2011 on polymeric biomaterials and functional surface coatings.
After a postdoctoral stay at the Centre for Blood Research at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada, she startet her independent research carrier at the interface of Material Science and Tissue Engineering at Freie Universität Berlin in 2015, funded through the BMBF-Programm NanoMatFutur.
Since 2019 she is Professor for Polymer Chemistry at Leibniz Universität Hannover with a coaffiliation at Freie Universität Berlin focusing on research in the biomedical field.
