Aurélie Mossé, PhD
Aurélie Mossé is a Designer, Researcher and Lecturer working at the intersection of textile design, architecture and self-actuated materials with a focus on exploring how new materials and new technologies can inform more resilient and poetic perspectives of inhabitation. In 2015, she completed an interdisciplinary design-led PhD at the Centre for IT & Architecture, Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture, investigating the design of three-dimensionally dynamic textiles for the home based on photovoltaic, electro-active and light-responsive technologies.
Design-led researcher and lecturer at Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs (EnsAD), Aurélie is co-leading the Soft Matters research group in EnsadLab -the research laboratory of EnsAD-. In the textile & matter design department of EnsAD, she is responsible for the 1st year M.A. and overall in charge of introducing students to new materials and new technologies, research methods as well as sustainable challenges.
