Martin Wagner
After pursuing a variety of studies, jobs and years of collaboration to establish the myth of Berlin as a cultural melting pot, Martin Wagner increasingly turned to support academic institutions and projects on their usage of digital methods and tools.
Among his previous workplaces are the Cluster of Excellence »Image Knowledge Gestaltung«, the MPI for the History of Science, the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities and the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation. As part of the IT Team, he's now supporting the research at the Cluster.
He achieved his B.Sc. as Landscape Architect with the creation of a digital retro-edition in the field of historical garden design.
Martin believes that both the science community and democratic societies as a whole would benefit from unfolding more steady activities in the Gestaltung and development of free and open standards and software. Hence, he’s contributing to and maintaining FOSS projects, and he’d be happy to support your endeavours in that field.
