Olaf Avenati - Matters of Activity

Graphic and Digital Designer in Paris and graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs (ENSAD) in 1997, he has been collaborating with the »Tout pour plaire« studio since 1998 and developing his own studio since 2014. He creates communication objects, exhibition routes, websites and digital applications. He is also a teacher at the École Supérieure d'Art et de Design (ESAD) in Reims, where he is responsible for the master's degree in graphic and digital design. He conducts research in datavisualization with scientists and develops an interdisciplinary post-master training, between design, engineering and management. He also gives courses at Sciences Po, ENSCi - Les Ateliers, Télécom SudParis and Institut Mines-Télécom Business School

He is an Associated Member of the Cluster of Excellence »Matters of Activity«. Within the Adaptive Digital Twin research, he is developing the Brain Roads project, which aims to visualize the digital model of the human brain and prototype an exploratory interface.
