Hanna Wiesener

Hanna Wiesener unites Product Design with a background in Cultural Studies and Art History.
She co-founded a label for parametric knitting accessories transforming audio data into knitting patterns. For six years she taught Design at University of the Arts Berlin (UdK) and coordinated the grant programme »Creative Prototyping«, a scholarship for technology-based projects in the arts.
As an exhibition designer, she specialised in participative and interactive installations and realised exhibitions for museums and historical sites. Since 2019 she has been working for »Haus Bastian - Center for Cultural Education« (Staatliche Museen zu Berlin).
As a Research Associate, she assists the projects at weissensee school of art and design berlin by strengthening the design perspective within the Cluster and science communication. Her research focuses on education and participation in exhibition context, science communication and entrepreneurship in the arts.
