Laura McKee
Laura McKee studied Linguistics in her home town of Seattle at the University of Washington, as well as at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nurnberg and the Adam-Mickiewicz University in Poznan.
She is finishing her master’s degree in Applied Linguistics at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, writing her thesis on the language development of children raised bilingually. She draws on data from a study carried out in the framework of the Interdisciplinary Research Alliance (IFV), a research project from the Leibniz-Centre General Linguistics (ZAS), where she worked from 2016-2019, supporting the data collection.
She managed more data, concerning mobility and international relations, in the ›Move-On‹ database during her 2016-2020 employment at the International Department of the HU.
From April 2020 to July 2021, she was filling in for parental leave while working with Amelie Hartschuh in the Management Office.
