Prof. Finn Geipel
The Architect and Urbanist Finn Geipel has been Professor and Director of the Laboratory for Integrative Architecture (LIA) at Technische Universität Berlin since 2000. Additionally, he is Co-Director (with Giulia Andi) of the International Studio for Architecture and Urbanism LIN in Berlin and Paris. He was particularly successful with architectural and urban development projects in France, such as the »Cité du Design« in Saint-Étienne.
Recently, he has been working with an international and multi-disciplinary team (under the leadership of LIN) on the French urban project »Grand Paris Métropole Douce«, a vision for the metropolis of the post-Kyoto era, transforming the European City into a prototype for future urban developments.
