Peter Sörries

Peter Sörries is a researcher in the projects Filtering und Cutting. He holds a master's degree in product design (interaction design) from the school of art and design weissensee berlin. In 2020, he joined the Human-Centered Computing Research Group (HCC), Freie Universität Berlin. The HCC focuses on the interrelationships and entanglements of data, people, and environments to contribute to socially responsible technology design.
He teaches as a lecturer at the school of art and design weissensee berlin in the interdisciplinary project »Coding IxD«, in which computer science and product design students are methodically guided to design neo-analog data physicalizations in the face of socially relevant contexts. He, furthermore, is conducting research for his dissertation at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design in Halle.
