Dr. Anna Arbuzova

Anna Arbuzova studied Physics and Biophysics at the Moscow State University. After her PhD in Biophysics at the Biozentrum Basel, she was a postdoc at the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
From 2007 to 2015, she led BMBF- and DFG-funded projects at the interface between Biophysics and Nanotechnologies at the Institute for Biology of the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and submitted third-party funding applications (HU Berlin, DFG, EU).
From 2015 to 2018, Anna was a Research Support Officer at the Cluster of Excellence »Image Knowledge Gestaltung«. With Anne Hattwich, she coordinated the application for »Matters of Activity« within the Excellence Strategy.
At »Matters of Activity« she advises and assists researchers in applying for third-party funding, especially in Medicine and in the Natural and Materials sciences. With Anne Hattwich, she organizes a Research Information System to increase the visibility of the Cluster's research and the Advisory Board of the Cluster.
