The interdisciplinary lecture series MoA Talks was continued on November 7th, with a talk by Claudia Blümle, Professor of History and Theory of Form at the Institute of Art and Visual History at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. In the tension between visibility and theory, the talk »Öffnen und Schließen. Zur Medialität des Vorhangs in der zeitgenössischen Kunst« focused on the production of visual form, its pictorial techniques and materiality, as well as on the cultural and medial conditionality of the perception of art. The talk was hold in German.

MoA Talks is an interdisciplinary lecture series at weißensee school of art and design berlin, which is the central participating partner institution for design of the Cluster and aims to present scientific positions from within the 40 disciplines involved at »Matters of Activity«. The lecture series is embedded in the hands-on teaching and design-research of the »MoA Design Research Studios« and is designed to encourage and facilitate the exchange of ideas between various participating institutions, researchers and students.
