Niki Nola Vetter

Niki Nola Vetter is currently pursuing an MA in Cultural History and Theory at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. They hold a bachelor's degree in Education Science and Anthropology from the University of Cologne and spent a year at the Department of Historical Studies at the University of the Western Cape in South Africa, funded by the DAAD. Their work as a facilitator and researcher spans projects situated at the intersection of contemporary art, political education, queer-feminist practices, and critical cartography. In their master's thesis, they examine German hydrocolonialism and hydrological infrastructures in photographic colonial archives. At Matters of Activity, Niki works as a student assistant in the project »Weaving«.
