Judith Marlen Dobler
Judith Marlen Dobler is a design practitioner and researcher. Since 2024, she has been a visiting professor for Performative Design Research at the weißensee school of art and design berlin and a Cluster Professor at »Matters of Activity«.
Her research interests include collaborative design practices (especially drawing), designing as experiential knowledge, and design methods in post-disciplinary research. She has multiple qualifications as a cabinetmaker (apprenticeship certificate), communication designer (Diplom FH), design theorist (Master of Arts), and media scholar (Dr. phil.). From 2020–24, she was design research coordinator and research associate at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences in Dessau. As a member of several design research associations (dgtf, DRS, cumulus) her engagement lies in academic equality, research ethics, and design justice.
