The EXC »Matters of Activity« is looking for a research assistant in the field of computer science or medical, media or business informatics to support the projects »Digital Filtering« and »Digital Adaptive Twin«.
The connection between Image, Space and Material is particularly evident in robot-assisted surgery. The control of the instruments replaces direct access to the body. In the planned project, this spatial separation will be by examining different forms of guided action in the context of a model of the »Digital Twin«. Action (Guidance) in the context of unpredictable situations will be explored.
Responsibilities
Scientific services in research at the Cluster of Excellence »Matters of Activity« in the projects »Digital Filtering« and »Digital Adaptive Twin« (subprojects of the projects Filtering and Cutting)
Requirements
Completed University degree as well as doctorate in the field of computer science or a related field, e.g. medical, media or business informatics
Desirable:
Above-average willingness to engage in interdisciplinary collaboration, especially in a medical context; substantial experience in the field of human-computer interaction; very good command of spoken and written English and German; qualifications should be described in a letter of motivation; an additional exposé should focus on possible research to be conducted within the scope of the job description.
