The project Weaving is currently looking for a student assistant in the field of Philosophy, Library, Cultural, Media or Literary Studies, Ethnology or similar (start 15 May 2023, duration 2 years, 40h per month, 13,01 € per hour).
Job Description
- Collaboration in the project »Weaving«, support of the scientific staff in their research
- Literature research and procurement (literature, cultural and natural science literature)
- Support in preparing the content of events
- Proofreading of texts in German language
- If necessary, assistance with the completion of scientific lectures and publications. If necessary, assistance with the completion of scientific lectures and publications, i.e. researching illustrations, editing images (Photoshop), inquiring about image rights, preparing PowerPoint presentations
Requirements

Studies in a field relevant to the area of responsibility, preferably from the humanities (philosophy, library, cultural, media or literary studies, ethnology or similar)

Good knowledge of the German language (especially very good spelling skills)

Basic knowledge of scientific work

Good knowledge of literature and media research, good knowledge of libraries and subject databases

Knowledge of common office programs

Ability to work in an organized and efficient manner in an interdisciplinary team
