Material Assemblages Before and After the Human
Symposium with many Cluster members at Canadian Center in Paris
Digital technologies are often hidden from our eyes. But what if they are made visible, what are they made of then? Oscillation, a group exhibition featuring twenty-five works and exploratory processes by Canadian and French artists and designers, illuminates the materiality of digital technologies, which are often imagined as immaterial. The exhibition, curated by Cluster member Samuel Bianchini together with Catherine Bédard, Alice Jarry, and Marie-Pier Boucher, opens on October 16th, 2025 at the Canadian Cultural Center in Paris and runs until January 16th, 2025.
We are delighted to share that MoA members Samuel Bianchini, Léa Perraudin, Iva Rešetar, and Patricia Ribault contributed to the symposium »Material Assemblages before and after the Human« that took place on the opening day and explored the entangled dynamics of bodies, materials, and environments, focusing on how artistic and critical practices respond to ecological transformations, infrastructures, and sensory experience.
