The Whispering World: Words by a Silent Sea
Exhibition by Rasa Weber Opens at Berlin Science Week
»The Whispering World: Words by a Silent Sea« is the name of the exhibition by MoA member Rasa Weber, which will be shown from 5 to 11 November 2024 at the French Embassy as part of Berlin Science Week 2024. It showcases Rasa's work in developing a prototype of an artificial reef that provides a substrate and structure for pioneer organisms to form a habitat.
The opening will be accompanied by a Blue Talk on the topic of »Science and Design for Marine Ecosystem Restoration» will take place, in which Rasa Weber will be joined by marine scientists Dr. Bernadette Pogoda and Dr. Wilfried Sanchez, climate researcher Dr. Melania Guerra and designer David Enon will participate.
The Blue Talk is organized by the Office of Science and Technology of the Embassy of France in Germany and the Embassy of Costa Rica in Germany. The event is part of the preparation for the Third United Nations Ocean Conference jointly organized by France and Costa Rica (June 2025 - Nice, France) and takes place at the French Embassy in Berlin.
