Dr. Richard Weinkamer

Richard Weinkamer ist seit 2003 als Materialforscher am Max-Planck-Institut für Kolloid- und Grenzflächenforschung in Potsdam tätig.
Seine Forschungsgebiete sind mechanobiologische Systeme wie Knochen; Computermodellierung von Mechanik, Wachstum und Anpassung von Biomaterialien; Struktur-Funktionsbeziehungen und mechanische Eigenschaften hierarchisch strukturierter biologischer Gewebe sowie Phasenumwandlung in natürlichen und künstlichen Materialien.
